Pisco Sour

A bright, silky sour with pisco, lemon, lime and a soft foamy top.


The Pisco Sour is a classic for a reason. Pisco gives the drink a floral, grape-based spirit character, while the split of lemon and lime keeps it fresh, sharp and balanced.

Pisco Sour

Pisco, lemon, lime and foam.


Glassware

Rocks glass.


Garnish

A few drops of aromatic bitters on the foam.


Ingredients

60ml Pisco

30ml egg white

2–3 drops aromatic bitters, such as Angostura


Recipe

Prepare your glass and garnish first.

Add the pisco, Lemon Cocktail Juice, Lime Cocktail Juice, Simple Sugar Syrup and egg white to a shaker with ice.

Shake hard until chilled.

Strain out the ice, then shake again without ice to help build the foam.

Fine strain into the prepared glass.

Add a few drops of aromatic bitters to the foam.
