A crisp, elegant brandy sour with orange liqueur and lemon.


The Sidecar is the quintessential brandy sour. It is sharp, citrusy and spirit-forward, with orange liqueur adding sweetness and depth without making the drink feel heavy.

Brandy, orange liqueur and lemon.


Glassware

Coupe glass.


Garnish

Orange twist.


Ingredients

50ml brandy

20ml orange liqueur, such as Cointreau or Triple Sec


Recipe

Prepare your glass and garnish first.

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

Shake hard until chilled.

Fine strain into the prepared glass.

Garnish with an orange twist.
