Rum Swizzle

A tall, spiced rum drink with citrus, falernum and crushed ice.
The Rum Swizzle might be one of the most satisfying drinks to make behind the bar. Built straight in the glass and churned with crushed ice, it is cold, aromatic, refreshing and full of rum character.
Rum Swizzle
Aged rum, falernum, lime, lemon and brown sugar.
Glassware
Collins glass or tiki mug.
Garnish
Mint sprig and orange slice.
Ingredients
60ml Aged rum
20ml Lime Cocktail Juice
10ml Lemon Cocktail Juice
20ml Falernum Syrup 15ml Demerara Syrup
1 dash aromatic bitters, such as Angostura
Recipe
Prepare your garnish first.
Add all ingredients to the glass.
Fill the glass two-thirds full with crushed ice.
Swizzle with a bar spoon until the glass becomes cold and frosty.
Top with more crushed ice.
Swizzle again briefly to combine.
Garnish with a mint sprig and orange slice.
