Rumoured to be the most fun drink to make behind the bar, the rum swizzle is the reason bar spoons have a twisted stem. For it's all the better to churn with!

Rum Swizzle

Aged rum, falernum, lime, lemon, and brown sugar


Glassware

Collins or tiki mug


Garnish

Mint spring and orange slice


Ingredients

60ml Aged rum

1 dash of aromatic bitters (such as Angostura)


Recipe

  1. Pour all ingredients into glass.

  2. Fill glass with crushed ice, up to one-third from the top.

  3. Swizzle with a barspoon.

  4. Add more crushed ice to fill and swizzle again.

  5. Garnish.
