Moscow Mule

A sharp, fizzy vodka highball with lime, ginger and soda.
The Moscow Mule is often made by mixing vodka and ginger beer, but this version builds the ginger flavour from syrup instead. Ginger Syrup gives you the spice and sweetness, while soda keeps the drink lighter, cleaner and more adjustable.
Moscow Mule
Vodka, lime, ginger and soda.
Glassware
Copper mug, Collins glass or tall glass.
Garnish
Lime wedge or lime wheel.
Optional: mint sprig.
Ingredients
60ml vodka
25ml Ginger Syrup
20ml Lime Cocktail Juice
90ml soda water
Recipe
Prepare your glass and garnish first.
Add the vodka, Ginger Syrup and Lime Cocktail Juice to a shaker with ice.
Shake hard until chilled.
Fine strain into a copper mug or tall glass filled with fresh ice.
Top with soda water.
Gently stir to combine.
Garnish with a lime wedge or wheel.
