A foamy tequila sour with grapefruit, cinnamon and bitter orange.


The Baby Turtle is a newer modern classic, but it earns its place. Tequila, grapefruit, cinnamon and bitter orange sound like an unusual mix, but together they create something bright, spiced, lightly bitter and surprisingly elegant.

Baby Turtle

Tequila, grapefruit, cinnamon and bitter orange.


Glassware

Rocks glass.


Garnish

Freshly grated cinnamon.


Ingredients

60ml tequila

7.5ml bitter orange liqueur, such as Campari

15ml pink grapefruit juice

15ml cocktail foamer, such as egg white

Recipe

Prepare your glass and garnish first.

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

Shake hard until chilled.

Strain out the ice, then shake again without ice to help build the foam.

Fine strain into a rocks glass over fresh ice.

Garnish with freshly grated cinnamon.
