The Baby Turtle cocktail is a newer addition to the halls of the modern-day classic, but it is equally as deserving of the title. Cinnamon, tequila, grapefruit and bitter orange make for an unusual combination that works so very well.

Baby Turtle

Tequila, bitter orange liqueur, cinnamon, and grapefruit


Glassware

Rocks


Garnish

Freshly grated cinnamon


Ingredients

60ml Tequila

7.5ml Bitter orange liqueur (such as Campari)

20ml Acidified Grapefruit Cocktail Juice (with the acidity of lime)

(or 22.5ml Lime Cocktail Juice and 15ml pink grapefruit juice)

2 dashes of Saline Solution

Recipe

  1. Prepare your glass and garnish.

  2. Shake all ingredients with ice.

  3. Strain out ice, and shake without ice.

  4. Fine strain into glass filled with ice.

  5. Garnish.
