A bright, easy tequila highball with orange and grenadine.


The Tequila Sunrise is simple, colourful and instantly recognisable. Orange juice keeps it fresh and fruity, while grenadine adds sweetness, depth and the classic sunrise effect.

Tequila Sunrise

Tequila, orange and grenadine.


Glassware

Collins glass or tall glass.


Garnish

Orange slice and maraschino cherry.


Ingredients

45ml tequila

120ml orange juice


Recipe

Prepare your glass and garnish first.

Add tequila and orange juice to a tall glass.

Fill the glass with fresh ice.

Stir gently to combine.

Slowly pour the Grenadine down the inside edge of the glass so it sinks toward the bottom.

Do not stir after adding the Grenadine.

Garnish with an orange slice and maraschino cherry.
