Mulled Wine

There is simply nothing better than cooking up a big batch of this in the middle of winter. Warming, soothing and inexpensive, just perfect.

Mulled Wine

Red wine, port, demerara, cardamom, cinnamon, allspice, and orange


Glassware

Toddy glass or a ceramic mug


Garnish

A cinnamon stick, three cloves and a lemon wheel


Ingredients

750ml Red Wine

30ml Brandy

10 drops of Saline Solution


Recipe

  1. Combine everything in a large pot, and heat until just simmering.

  2. Warm the glass with hot water and prepare the garnish.

  3. Pour out hot water.

  4. Pour a single serving into the warmed glass.

  5. Garnish.
