An old school classic cocktail that was invented in Cuba during America's prohibition. This drink fell from fashion when grenadine stopped being about flavour and started being about the colour, thankfully, that is changing back.

Rum, pineapple, maraschino, and grenadine


Glassware

Coupe


Garnish

A skewered maraschino cherry


Ingredients

60ml White rum 45ml Pineapple juice

5ml Maraschino liqueur (such as Luxardo)


Recipe

  1. Prepare your glass and garnish.

  2. Shake all ingredients with ice.

  3. Fine strain into glass.

  4. Garnish.
