Lavender Penicillin

The Penicillin is well well-known cocktail utilising smoky notes from scotch with spicy ginger and floral honey. We've infused the honey with lavender to give this cocktail an additional layer that works incredibly well.

Penicillin

Whisky, peated whisky, ginger, lemon, lavender, and honey


Glassware

Rocks glass


Garnish

A skewered piece of crystallised ginger


Ingredients

50ml Whisky (ideally something with light peated notes, such as a blended scotch) 15ml Ginger Syrup

~

10ml Peated Whisky (such as a Scotch like Lagavulin or Laphroaig)


Recipe

  1. Prepare your glass and garnish.

  2. Shake all ingredients, except the peated whisky, with ice.

  3. Fine strain into a glass filled with ice.

  4. Gently pour peated whisky on top.

  5. Garnish.
