A sharp, herbal classic with gin, lime, maraschino and Green Chartreuse.


The name is a little ironic considering how many twists have been made from this drink. The original formula is beautifully simple: equal parts, shaken hard, with a balance of citrus, sweetness, and herbal depth.

Glassware

Coupe glass.


Garnish

Skewered maraschino cherry.


Ingredients

20ml Gin

20ml Green Chartreuse

20ml Maraschino liqueur, such as Luxardo 20ml Lime Cocktail Juice


Recipe

Prepare your glass and garnish first.

Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice.

Shake hard until chilled.

Fine strain into the prepared glass.

Garnish with a skewered maraschino cherry.
