A Dead Man's Handle is a switch on a train, designed to stop the train if released by the driver (in case he dies and no one notices). This tequila cocktail combines a light apéritif with orgeat to create a simple yet complex cocktail.

Tequila, aperitivo, orgeat, and lime

Garnish

Lime wedge


Ingredients

45ml Tequila

20ml Aperitivo (such as Aperol, or Pompelle)

15ml Orgeat


Recipe

  1. Prepare your glass and garnish.

  2. Shake all ingredients with ice.

  3. Fine strain into the glass filled with crushed ice.

  4. Garnish.
