Chartreuse Swizzle

Chartruese (or any herb-based liqueur) make for some incredible tasting tropical drinks. The Chartreuse swizzle is a prime example of what a little sweetness can do to a flavour house liqueur like Chartreuse.

Chartreuse Swizzle

Chartruese, falernum, and pineapple


Glassware

Collins or tiki mug


Garnish

Pineapple wedge and a maraschino cherry, skewered, with fresh nutmeg grated on top.


Ingredients

45ml Green Chartruese

30ml Acidified Pineapple Juice (with the acidity of a lime)


Recipe

  1. Prepare garnish.

  2. Pour all ingredients into glass.

  3. Fill the glass with crushed ice, up to one-third from the top.

  4. Swizzle with a barspoon.

  5. Add more crushed ice to fill and swizzle again.

  6. Garnish.
