This is one of those old classic cocktails from the 1930's that many bartenders known, few have tried, and even fewer like. Thankfully we do not have the same ingredients they had back in the 30's. We have science!

Acidified Blood & Sand

Scotch, cherry brandy, rosso vermouth, and acidified orange


Glassware

Coupe


Garnish

Maraschino cherry


Ingredients

20ml Blended Scotch

20ml Cherry Brandy (such as Heering Cherry Liqueur) 20ml Rosso Vermouth


Recipe

  1. Prepare your glass and garnish

  2. Shake everything with ice

  3. Fine strain into glass

  4. Garnish
