Blue Gum Eucalypt Syrup
Blue Gum is the only Eucalypt that is considered safe for consumption and only in small amounts, which makes it hard to create ingredients with if you are unsure on quanities. Thankfully, we've taken the guess work out and created this product so you do not have to.
Blue Gum syrup can be used instead of regular simple sugar syrup to create some intersting twists on classics. Try using it in a Blue Gum Gimlet or a Blue Gum Margarita.
Made using fresh blue gum leaves, and 100% Australian cane sugar, we create the syrup to be at a 50° Brix for consistancy and ease of use.
We don’t use any unnecessary preservatives or additives in our syrups, and although it should last a very long time it’s best used within two weeks, and keep it refrigerated for optimal quality. Discard if it turns cloudy, or begins to ferment.
Packaging
Sold in a 750ml clear glass wine bottle with minimal labels.
We try and keep our labels to the bare necessities so your product looks something made in house and not recognisable by customers.
We also try and reuse bottles whenever we can, after a thorough cleaning first! We will happily take back any bottles and accept any clear, screw-cap style wine bottles you have spare. It helps keep our prices low and it does that little bit for the environment. That’s a win-win.
Seasonal Differences
We do not use artificial colouring, so colours and flavours may change slightly with the seasons. We do our best to keep it looking consistent but nature has a way of doing what it wants.
Storage and Use
All of our syrups are small batch, made to order and preservative free, so they are best kept refrigerated and ideally used within two weeks for the best flavour and quality. Also check the best before date before use.
