The Old Fashioned is considered to be the original cocktail, thus the name. The simple combination of spirit, bitters, and sweetener lends itself to endless twists and rifts. This version is using Muscovado syrup instead of regular simple syrup to create a much deeper flavour.

Ingredients

60ml Whisky

5ml Muscovado Syrup

2 dashes of aromatic bitters (such as Angostura)

1 dash of orange bitters

Recipe

1. Prepare your glass and garnish.

2. Stir all ingredients with ice.

3. Strain into the glass filled with ice.

4. Garnish.
